Letter for the Yeshiva of Moron the Maharil Diskin the Saraf of Brisk, Handwritten and Signed by the Dayanim of the Beis Din of Satmar, headed by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald of Satmar, who enclosed his donation with the letter.  

In the letter, the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald uses exatraordinary language to praise Moron the Maharil Diskin ‘The Saraf of Brisk’ and his yeshiva and stresses the great Mitzvah of assisting them. ‘אשר בעיר ד’ שמה, שנתייסדה מקדוש ישראל הגאון הרב דבריסק המפורסם זצקל"הה כי בני כוללנו עדת עסטריים ואונגרין, שהיא ישיבה מיוחדת ולה בוודאי תשלום הקדימה. גם מזה אל תנח ידו מי שלבו נאמן לד’ ולתוה"ק לסייע גם לישיבתם הנ"ל ואין לשער גודל המצוה דרבים מיד ולדורות. אשרי חלקו של כל חכם שיקח מצוות בהזקת הישיבות ומהשי"ת תהיה משכורתו שלימה. בעה"ח בעיר סאמטאר, ג’ לסדר צדק תרדוף למען תחיה וירשת – תרס"ה לפ"ק. ונתתי 4 קראנען. The letter ends with his handwritten signature and important stamp. 

Beneath him, a handwritten addiiton by the renowned Gaon Rabbi Avraham Chanoch Friedman Abd of Arta and Satmar [1866-1944] – Holy Rabd at the Beis Din of the Keren LeDavid and a frequent visitor to the house of Moron the Chasam Sofer. The senior disciple of Moron the Mahari Greenwald and his brother’s son-in-law. 

Thirdly, a lengthy addition by the renowned Gaon Rabbi Moshe David Weinternitz Rabd of the city, the son-in-law of the first Rav of Satmar the gaon Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Mendelboim. He too was a disicple of the Rav of the city Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald. 

Before us is an extremely rare document handwritten, signed and stamped by three rabbis of Satmar and the heads of its Beis Din, headed by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald. Elul 1905. On the back of the sheet, various names, apparently a holy Kvitel. Possibly names that were sent to the Land of Israel with the Shadar Rabbi Meir Arinstein who is mentioned in the letter.
