Invitation to the marriage of the Rebbetzen Mrs. Ruchama the daughter of the Holy Rabbi Asher Elimelech of Kozhnitz the son of the Holy Rabbi Yerachmiel Moshe of Kozhnitz. The bridegroom is Rabbi Mordechai Dov the son of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Simcha Frankel Teomim of Skavin-Krakow the grandson of the Holy Rabbi David of Kshanov and the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi Naftali of Kshanov. The wedding was to take place in Lublin in Elul [1929], yet the final date was not written, as was customary then.
On the back of the printed invitation leaf, a holy letter by the Holy Rabbi Asher Elimelech of Kozhnitz to the head sof the ‘Ezrat Torah’ organization in New York in which he appeals to them for help and assistance ‘since the situation of our brothers Bnei Yisrael and Anshei Shelomeinu and Hassidim especially is not good that is in Poland the situation is terrible May G-d have mercy on them therefore may you help in a time of need and by this merit may the merit of our holy fathers protect you …"
The Holy Rabbi Asher Elimelech the son of the Holy Rabbi Yerachmiel Moshe of Kozhnitz, the son-in-law of the Holy Rabbi Berachya of Oihel and the grandson of the Holy Rabbi the mahartza of Blazhov. Six generation from the Holy maggid of Kozhnitz. One of the greatest Tzaddikim of Poland before the war. His brothers were the renowned Holy Rabbi Aharon Yechiel, the Holy Rabbi Yisrael Elazar of Kefar Chassidim and his brothers-in-law the Holy Rabbi the Chovas Hatalmidim of Piaseczno and the Holy Rabbi Elimelech of Grodzhinsk Jerusalem.
