Manuscript of Torah innovations handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rosovsky the admired Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponovezh Yeshiva, dealing with Chazakat Tashmishin in the first chapter of Tractate Baba Batra. Bnei Berak, unknown year.
Official stationery written on both its sides in fine, dense script, with wonderous proficiency and genius, about Chazakat Tashmishin and 3 years and the difference between them according to the method of Rashi and the Rambam and their branches.
The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Rosovsky (1913-1979), Rosh Yeshiva of the Ponovezh Yeshiva and one of the greatest Marbitzei Torah of the recent generation. Most of his Torah was taught to him by his leading rabbi Rabbi Shimon Shkop at the Sha’ar HaTorah Yeshiva. After his immigration to Israel, he studied with the Gaon Rabbi Reuven Katz at the Petach Tikvah Yeshiva and with the Gaon the Rabbi of Brisk. From 1944 until his passing, he served as Rosh Yeshiva of the Pnovezh Yeshiva. His general lessons were well-known for their clarity and special style and attracted a large and varied group of learners.
