Rare and holy! The holy sefer ‘Shnei Luchot Habrit’ by Rabbi Yeshaya Horowitz, Warsaw – 1962. The personal copy from which the Holy Rabbi Moshe of Bardejov the son of the Holy Rabbi of Gorlitz had purely studied.

Appearing on the title page and among the pages of the sefer, is his stamp ("Moshe Halberstam M.H.S."). in addition, the signature of his son and succesor the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Natan (1865-1934) also appears and additional ownership signatures and inscriptions (such as "Belongs to the Gaon Rabbi Butzina Kaddisha … Moshe Halberstam Abd of Bardejov – apparently a later inscription).

Was born to his father the Holy Rabbi Baruch of Gorlitz (the son of the Holy Rabbi of Sanz the ‘Divrei Chaim’) and his mother Mrs. Pessel the daughter of the Holy Rabbi of Siget author of Yitav Lev. He studied Torah with his great grandfather who also trusted him with the editing of his sefer the Shu"t ‘Divrei Chaim’. In 1874, by his grandfather’s recommendation, he was appointed to serve as a Rabbi and Abd of Berdejov. Later he became an Admor there. His descendants were all pious Jews and many were also Rabbis in various cities. His son-in-law was the renowned Holy Gaon Rabbi ChuneHalberstam of Kaloshitz.
