Rare and holy! Kozhnitz dynasty, Sefer HaRambam of the Holy Rabbi Elimelech of Grodzinsk and his holy sons the Holy Rabbi Klonymus Kalman of Piaseczno and the Holy Rabbi Yeshaya of Yablona.

Appearing on the title page is the stamp of the Holy Rabbi Elimelech of Grodzinsk: :Elimelech Shapiro… Grodzinsk". And on the flyleaves, the stamps of his holy sons the Holy Rabbi Klonymus Kalman of Piaseczno: "Klonymus Kalman … Shapiro, Grodzinsk" and the Holy Rabbi Yeshaya of Yablona "HaAdmor HeChalutz": Yashaya… Shapiro, Grodzinsk". Appearing on the flyleaf is a lengthy notation detailing their pedigree to the Holy Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk and the Holy Rabbi the Maggid of Kozhnitz.
Also appearing on the title page is the handwritten notation: "זה ספר הרמב"ם נדב הרבני החסיד מו"ה יצחק יוסף נ"י ב"ר עזריאל מווארשא לביהמ"ד בק’ גראדזיסק ומבקש אני מכל מי שילמד בספרי שיהיה לו בזכרון עבורי גם כן. יצחק יוסף"
The Holy Rabbi Elimelech of Grodzinsk (1824-1892) one of the greatest Tzaddikim of Poland in his generation. From a family of Torah giants. The son of the Saraf of Moglintza the Holy Rabbi Chaim Yechiel Shapiro. In his youth, he studied Torah with the Holy Rabbi Yissachar ber of Radoshitz, the Holy Rabbi Natan David of Shidlovtza and the Holy Rabbi of Ruzhin to whom he use travel even after he became an Admor. Was renowned as a lofty Tzaddik and miracle-worker and acted extensivley for the safety of the Jews in the Diaspora.
The Holy Rabbi Klonymus Kalmish of Piaseczno (1889-1934) one of the greatest rabbis of Poland during the two world wars. Was born to his father Rabbi Elimelech of Grodzinsk – a descendant of the Maggid of Kozhnitz and Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. At a young age he married the daughter of the Holy Rabbi Yerachmiel of Kozhnitz. After th epassing of his in-law, when he was still a young Avrech, he bacame an Admor in Piaseczno. After World War I and with the development of various ideas and youth movements that severley damaged Jewish education, Rabbi Klonymus started working for educating the youth and brining them closer to the Torah. His ideas and perceptions were innovative and revolutionary for the period yet he greatly succeeded in this field. In 1923 he established in Warsaw the Da’at Moshe Yeshiva where he remained most days of the year, returning to Piaseczno in the summer and for the High Holidays.
With the outbreak of World War II, he remained with his community in Warsaw and refused all attempts to smuggle him out of the ghetto. In the ghetto, he worked extensively to strengthen and support its residents. In addiiton, he established a network of soup kitchens and charity institutions. He was killed on Kiddush Hashem in 1944 at the Trawniki Camp.
After the Holocaust, sermons he had delivered during the War to support the residents of the ghetto were found and printed in the Sefer "Esh Kodesh".
HaAdmor HeChalutz Rabbi Yeshaya of Yablona (1891-1945) was raised from a young age by his grandfather the Holy Rabbi Chaim Shmuel of Chantshin who taught him the virtues of the Holy Land. In 1914, he immigrated to the Holy Land, meeting with Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook who greatly influenced him. He was active in establishing the HaPoel HaMizrachi Movement in Poland and encouraged groups of Hassidim to immigrate to the Land of Israel.
