and his relative the Holy Gaon Rabbi Elazar Shapiro of Kivashd [1883-1978] the son of the Holy Rabbi Mordechai of Bertch the son of the Holy Rabbi Zvi Elimelech of Bertch the grandson of the Holy Rabbi the Bnei Yissachar. A descendant of the Bnei Yissachar and the continuer of the heritage of his forefathers. At the end of his life he lived in Brooklyn and many came to learn from his and sought his advice.
