Sefer Gilgulei Neshamot, Kabbalistic matters and Gilgulei Neshamot of Tana’im and Amora’im, authored by Rabbi Menachem Azarya of Fano (as he received from his teacher Rabbi Yisrael Sarug, Lemberg, 1859.
On the title page, an ownership signature of the hidden Tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Voltuch: ב"ה יוסף וואלטוך, מירושלים ת"ו
The hidden Tzaddik Rabbi Yosef Voltuch, one of the members of the group of hidden Tzaddikim that included among others the Holy Shoemaker Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Rabikov, Rabbi Moshe Ya’ir Weinstok, Rabbi Yehuda Ze’ev Leibowitz and the Holy Tailor. His days passed with fasting and Sigufim, usually sleeping on the sefarim which he studied day and night. He warmed himself by the light of the Holy Tzaddikim Rabbi Mordechai Sharabi, Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira and Rabbi Moshe Mordechai of Lelov, who all praised and admired him. He used to sign "Yosef Voltuch, the grandson of Rabbi Yechiel Michel of Zlotchov" due to his lofty lineage, and alternately "Rabbi Yosef Voltuch of Jerusalem" like in the sefer before us.
