The personal copy of the Holy Rabbi of Husiatyn! Yalkut Shimoni [second volume of Nach], Varkenburt [Frankfurt], 1686.
The personal copy studied by the Holy Rabbi of Husiatyn whose stamp appears on the title page.
The Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn, the eldest of the Tzaddikim of the Ruzhin family, the grandson of the Holy Rabbi Tiferet Yisrael of Ruzhin and the son of the Holy Rabbi Mordechai Feibush of Husiatyn. It is common knowledge that the Holy Rabbi Aharon of Belz, when referring to the title ‘Rabbi’ was only referring to the Rabbi of Husiatyn. Thousands came to his courtyard in Husiatyn, Vienna and later in Tel Aviv, for advice and blessing, salvation and cure. Especially well-known is his wonderous act to stop the hateful Nazis and their troops from entering the Holy Land during World War II.
