Historical and touching letter of request, for the marriage of a grandson descendant of the Holy Ruzhin dynasty and the Saraf of Maglanitza, the first who got married in the Holy Land.

The letter is written and signed by the Rebbetzen Mrs. Bas-Sheva Shapiro, the fifth daughter of the Holy Rabbi Yitzchak of Bohush [the first] the eldest grandson of Moron the Holy Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, the widow of the Holy Rabbi Chaim Meir Yechiel of Drohovich, the grandson and successor of the Saraf of Maglanitza and the son of the daughter of the Holy Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura.

The letter of request was written to the Chassid Rabbi Abish Berman of Haifa, one of the first Ruzhin Chassidim in the new Yishuv, a loyal and loving friend of all the Tzaddikim of the Ruzhin dynasty who settled in Israel. He is asked to act towards the marriage of her dear son Rabbi Yisrael Shapiro, this after the passing of her great husband.

The righteous Rebbetzen, the daughter of royalty, the Holy Rabbi of Bohush, blesses anyone who assists and supports the marriage of the orphan, the descendant of Torah giants, and may the merit of our righteous father and the bridegroom’s forefathers protect all those who assist and support with an abundance of blessings ‘May all his heart’s wishes be fulfilled for the best, longevity and good years, good health and success and all the best’.

The script is similar to that of the scribe the Chassid who used to write most of the letters of the Holy Rabbi the Abir Yaakov of Sadigura.
