"Please pray for me so that I will be able to do the bid of Hashem Yisborach" a touching letter by Holy Admor Author of Emunat Avraham of Pittsburgh to Rabbi Aharon Yosef Brizel, Pittsburgh, 1967.

In the letter, the Holy Admor appeals to the Hassid Rabbi Aharon Brizel, an important Karlin Hassid and a dedicated Gabai Tzeddakah who acted for many years for the good of others. The Rav describes to him the many charity needs and the lack of satisfactory funds … and asks that he pray for him that he merit to do  charity work faithfully.

The Holy Admor Rabbi Avraham Abba of Pittsburgh (1917-1990) was born in Kraly to his father the Holy Admor Rabbi Yosef of Pittsburgh. In his youth, he moved from the USA to Europe to study Torah from Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Friedman Av Beis Din of Rachov and from the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Segal Rosner Av Beis Din of Tshap and Sekelihad. In 1937, he married the daughter of the Holy Rabbi Itamar of Nadvorna. After his family perished in the Holocaust, he immigrated in 1948 to the USA and served as an Admor in his father’s lifetime. In 1970 he immigrated to Israel and established his Hassidic court in Ashdod. His court served as the cornerstone of the never-ceasing Hassidic life of the city to this day.
