Lengthy letter filled with Ahavas Yisroel by the Holy Gaon of Tshebin handwritten by him for the Pidyon Shvuyim (redemption of captives) and saving some souls, to the great Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth of Chernowitz. Jerusalem, 1947.

A wonderful letter, filled with pleas and Ahavas Yisroel, by the Gaon, Posek Hador, Moron Rabbi Dov Berish Wiedenfeld Av Beis Din of Tshebin, from the first months after he came to the Holy land after his exile in Siberia and Bukhara, with his immigration to Jerusalem. Written on the 15th of Tevet 1947.

Moron of Tshebin, on a lines leaf, on which he added his name and title on the upper part of the page, as an official stationery which he did not yet have, appeals at length to his close friend the great Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth Av Beis Din of Chernowitz and one of the greatest rabbis of his generation, whom Moron the Rav of Tshebin praised at length his Torah and Yirah greatness, for a Jew Mr. Glassner who was with him in Bukhara. In the letter by the Rav of Tshebin he asks to assist him and help him immigrate to the Holy Land. The Gaon of Tshebin notes that anyone who reads this letter, his heart will melt ‘anyone who reads it, his heart will ache‘.

He also asks for Rabbi Shmuel Epstein of the Agency and an acquaintance of the Gaon of Chernowitz ‘who would be grateful if he obtained from the rescue institutions some loan and make an effort for them to take them out of there and give him some position come what may’.
