A document signed by Rabbi Moshe Zacuto and his Beis Din, about a pregnant unmarried woman and an attempt to identify the baby’s father. Mantova, the 13th of Tevet (1675).
"We the undersigned … have sent for Yaakov … and interviewed and interrogated him using threats … and Gzeras Nachash and the curses written in the Torah to tell us the nature of that baby with whom Mrs. Kila Ashkenazis is pregrnant, and whether it was by him or whether he knows that some other man bed her … he is greatly doubtful whether she is pregnant by him … and then we called the aforementioned Kila and after threats … the aforementioned said accpeting the above curses … that she is definitely pregnant by him".

A document for determining the baby’s pedigree, signed by the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Zacuto, the Remez, one of the greatest Kabbalists of Italy , Rosh Yeshiva and Rav of Mantova and of the Sephardic community of Venice. Signed alongisde him are two additional Dayanim including his disciple Rabbi Yehuda ben Rabbi Eliezer Briel.
Fold marks, slight wear to the perimeter of the leaf, tiny hole not affecting the txet, good-very good condition.
