Lengthy letter handwritten by the holy hand of the Holy RavRabbi Shlomo Eiger the son of Rabbeinu Akiva Eiger and in his lifetime about the writing of a Sefer Torah and whether אל-ה-ים לא תקלל קודש או חול on three dense pages. Cheshvan 9, 1825.
In the lengthy and detailed responsum, the Great Gaon refers to the great Gaon author of Chemdas Shlomo and notes references to varied Sugiyot of the Shas. A lengthy letter with dozens of lines written in the lifetime of his father the Holy Gaon Rabbi Akliva Eiger. The responsum was published in the Rabbi Shlomo Eiger Shut.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Eiger (1787-1852) Gedol Hador, the Rav of Kalisch and Posnan, the son and disciple of the Holy Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger and his successor. His son after him the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Eiger founded the Lublin dynasty despite his father being opposed to Chassidus.
Double sheet. 3 pp. 19.5X18 cm. Greenish paper. Fine script by his holy hand and with his signature. Very good condition.
