Even if the Situation is Disheartening, It must not be Published so as not to Strengthen the Other Party! Wonderful Guidance regarding Public Business by the Holy Moron the Lubavitcher Rebbe to the activist Rabbi Menachem Porush

, during the Struggle against the ‘Sculpture Garden’ in Jerusalem, New York, [1960].

In his letter, the Rebbe instructs Rabbi Menachem Porush on how to fight the establishment of the ‘Sculpture Garden’ near The Israel Muesuem in Jerusalem. The Rebbe reveals a small fraction of his activity behind the scenes for the sacredness of Jerusalem, against the donor of the garden, who is referred to in the letter by his initials B.R. (Billy Rose).

At the end of the letter, the Rebbe expresses his objection to a newspaper account according to which Agudas Yisroel had seemingly ceased to fight the matter: "Even if the situation is disheartening, to publish such a stance might add strength to the opposing party…"

Official stationery with the holy handwritten signature of the Rebbe, enclosed is the airmail envelope. 28X21 cm.

Filing holes, fold marks, very good condition.
