Copy of the Holy Gaon of Shamloy with many editings handwritten by him. Mahram Barabi, Warsaw, 1885 – with the holy handwritten signature of Moron the Gaon Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Shamloy and with many editings by his holy hand, some of them lengthy and which have never been printed.
Two sections of the Sefer Chidushei Halachos Maharam Barabi on Tractates Beitza, Pesachim, Kiddushin, Yevamot and section B on Tractate Ketubot and Derashos Shabbas HaGadol. Warsaw edition 1885.
On the flyleaf, signatures and ownership notations by the Rav of Shamloy and his sons – "חנני השי"ת בזה הק’ שלמה זלמן עהרנערייך אבד"ק שאמלויא והגליל". His Gaon Tazzdik son Rabbi Chaim Zvi added: "זה הספר היקר שייך לאאמו"ר הרב הגאון נזר חכמים ועטרת נבונים פאר הדור והדרו כבוד קדושת מוהרש"ז שליט"א האבדק"ק שאמלויא יע"א". ‘Der Heiliger Tzaddik un Gaon Der Shamloyer Rov’ the great Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich [1863-1944], one of the greatest Poskim. Of tremedous knowledge of Torah and Kabbalah. A lofty Tzaddik in his generation. Many saw salvation and health by his merit. For several years, grew up and was educated in the house of his great grandfather the Holy Gaon the ‘Kol Yehuda’. After his wedding, he lived in Liska, where he refused to accept a rabbinic position and made a meager living as a merchant. After several years of being a Rav in Tshabe, he was appointed the Rav of Shamloy. He led his community courageously, fixed various regulations and established a yeshiva and talmud Torah. Authored many books: Lechem VeShlomo, Beis Shlomo, Em LaBinah, and many more.
