Four pure silver spoons from the royal table of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Kopitshnitz.
Four pure silver spoons, artistically engraved by hand in ancient Russian style, which were laid on the pure royal table of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yitzchak Meir of Kopitshnitz, a descendent of Ohev Yisroel of Optow and of Rabbi Yisroel of Ruzhin. By tradition, there is evidence that he had inherited and received the spoons from the house of his his father-in-law the Holy Rav Rabbi Sholem Yosef of Sadigura, the eldest son of Aterest Tiferes Yisroel of Ruzhin.
Six spoons – a complete set, were given to the son of the Holy Rav of Kopitshnitz, Pri Etz Chaim Rabbi Sholem Yosef Heschil and from him to his daughter Mrs. Bauminger. Enclosed is confirmation. Two spoons are owned by the rabbinic R. Avraham Halperin of New York and the four additional spoons – are before us.
In the holy court of Kopitshnitz there are similar engraved spoons and they too are attributed to the holy dynasty.
72 gr. pure silver. Some of the spoons are marked. Very good condition.
