Shaking! Kvitel personally written by the Holy Moron the Ikvei Abirim of Sadigura in which he mentions his names and the names of his descendents and the names of their father and mother.

On a large leaf in bold script, Moron the Admor the Ikvei Abirim wrote his names, the Rebbetzen’s name and the names of his descendents and their parents – first their mother’s name and then their father’s, as was the custom of his father Moron the Knesses Mordechai [see item 183 of the present auction].

It should be noted that the Rav writes the name of his son and successor Rabbi Yisroel Moshe and his descendents even before his eldest daughter Mrs. Sharf and her descendents. In addition, mentioned are the children who have already been born; therefore, the names of the the Rav the Ateres Yisroel’s youngest children – Abirei Yam, do not appear. Including the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Elyakim Getzil, the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Yitzchak Yehoshua Heschil of Sadigura and the boy Kamar Shimon Menachem Nachum.

The Rav prays for his son, among others, ‘to gain favor and success in establishing and leading the Beis Midrash‘.

The Kvitel was written when the Rav’s eldest grandson Rabbi Yisroel Shlomo Chaim Sharf was a bridesgroom before his wedding and contains twenty names. Handwritten entirely by the Ikvei Abirim.

23X22 cm. Minor dampness stains on the right margins and one of the folds of the leaf, on its back. Fold marks. Very good condition.
