Sefer HaAruch authored by Rabbi Nosen ben Rabbi Yechiel of the Roman city and gathered every serious word of the Talmud in this Sefer and ordered them alphabetically. Daniel Bomberg Press, Venice [1531-1532].
2-246 leaves, 25 cm. The title page is missing and has been completed by hand. Vellum binding. Owner’s notation in old script in a foreign language. Woner’s notation and stamp of Sheindel and Yehuda Elberg.
In ca. 1515, Daniel Bomberg founded in Venice a printing house. He devloped new fonts and for approx. 25 years printed about two hundred Hebrew books. Seforim printed by Bomberg’s printing house are of great historical importance.
The title page that was completed by hand and the first lead are detached, moth holes, aging stains, fair-good condition.
