Sefer Charedim by Rabbeinu Elazar Azikri Printed in Zhitomir. by the pratners the grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta, Zhitomir, 1857.
Sefer HaKodesh Sefer Charedim was written by Rabbi Elazar Azikri, one of the greatest rabbis of Safed, and a disciple of the Ramak and the Mahari Birav, on the list of the Mitzvahs, attributing each Mitzvah to the organ it shines on in the body.
The Zhitomir printing house of the Shapiro family, the sons and grandsons of the Holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz which was also known as the Slavuta Printing Press, was known for the quality of its Seforim, which were rare and of extremely high quality. Well-known is the holiness of the Seforim of this prinitng house, which were printed by G-d fearing famous dignitaries. The printing house was also famous due to the libel defaming the holy brothers Rabbi Shmuel Abba and Rabbi Pinchas Shapiro the grtandsons of the Holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz, on the basis of which they were sent to prison for seventeen years.
