On the flyleaf, a lengthy ownership notation on an entire page, containing a personal testimony of a miraculous story: "Then said Shlomo blessed be G-d who granted me a favor. I shall recall the deeds so that the recent generation will know of them… what happened to me on Sabbath eve Parashat Shelach [1762] …" Signed by "Shlomo … Meislitz". On the second page, owners’ notation in a foreign language and in Hebrew, with descriptions of the weather and the precipitation in the years [1787-1791].
Original semi-leather binding eith gluings, aging stains, some moth holes and gluings, spreads of ink in the notation on the flyleaf. Good condition.
