Birkas Yehoshua [Section A], on Tractate Berachos, authored by Rabbi Yosha Zvi Weinstein, Kloinzenburg, 1942.

An approbation by the Holy Admor of Des Rabbi Yaakov Elimelech Panet was added to the Sefer.

The Sefer was published in Kloizenburg in the midst of World War II when the opressor already wielded its sword against the Jews of the area (during these years, Kloizenburg like all the area of North Transalvania was controlled by the Hungarians). In 1942, the authorities began sending Jews to forced labor in the east. Before us is a live and touching evidence of the great love of the Torah demonstrated by the Jews of Hungary, who despite being in truly grave danger, were bravely and devotedly wiling to give their life for the Torah.

[8], 204 pp. 22 cm.

The bindign is slightly detached from the body of the Sefer, good general condition.
