Letter for the days of Passover with blessings for salvation and redemption, handwritten and signed by the Holy Rav the Tzidkas Yosef of Pittsburgh, to his brother the Holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Cleveland. Pittsburgh, before Passover, 1935s.
"And due to my troubles and weakness, I have written to you from my heart about the Kopelitsh and beg your forgiveness … and you my dear brother will wear the hat in good health and a happy heart … and may we celebrate a Kosher Passover with joyous days and eternal happiness and see wonders like the days of our exodus from Egypt". In the letter, the Holy Rav of Piitsburgh informs his brother of a hat he has given him, thanks him for the Matzah he will send him and blesses him for the upcoming Passover. The Holy Admor Rabbi Yosef of Pittsburgh (1896-1966) the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yissachar Ber of Satmar, the son of the Holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai of Nadvorna. Already in his youth he was raised in Torah and Chassidism and was known as a prodigy knowledgeable in "Shav Shmateta" and the responses of the greatest Achronim. One of the greatest disciples of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald of Hust who gave him his Semicha with the Holy Rav Rabbi Shaul Brach Av Beis Din of Kashoi. After he became a Rav and Admor in Karly, he moved to Pittsburgh, where he brought thousands of Jews closer to Hashem and His Torah and where he was akcnowledged and famed as one of the Tzaddikim of the generation and a renowned miracle-worker, a fire in his love of Israel and love of Hashem Yisbarach. His holy Imros were published in his Sefer ‘Tziddkas Yosef’.
