"And I have told my father and Rav everything’! A unique letter from the youth of the Holy Rav the Imrei Emes of Gur, referring to his his father the Holy Rav the Sefas Emes during his lifetime. Entirely by his holy hand.

A unique holy letter written on ‘ה’ פנחס צום הרביעי יהפך לנו לששון’ during the lifetime of the Holy Rav author of the Sefas Emet of Gur, entirely by the pure hand of the Holy Rav Maran the Imrei Emes of Gur, which was sent to his friend, the prominent Gur Chassid, Rabbi Menachem Manli Rosenstruch.

In the letter, the Holy Rav the Imrei Emes notes that he was happy to meet in Warsaw the addressee’s son, R. Leibeli Rosenstruch, who told him about his father’s healthץ The Imrei Emes, in a singular reference, recalls that he went to see his holy father the Gaon the Sefas Emes of Gur, telling him everything, to cite him.

Later in the letter, Maran the Imrei Emes tells his close friend about his upcoming trip to Marienbad, to rest there at the decision of the doctors, and asks him to wait ‘about a month’ with a certain matter they had agreed to and he ends ‘ולטובה ייחשב’ . The letter ends with the holy blessings of Maran the Imrei Emes, ‘the speech of your friend asking after your health and welfare with a light heart Avraham Mordechai Alter here in the community of Gur’. A long, special signature of Rosh Golat Ariel the Holy Rav the Imrei Emes in his youth and during the lifetime of his father the Holy Rav author of Sefas Emes of Gur.

The letter is very well preserved, written on dark graph paper. Strong quality ink, rare. Very good condition.
