"Great Teshuah to be spiritually and materially blessed and all the best in this world and the principal remains for the world to come". Letter on charity matters for Bnei Torah and Talmidei Chachamim handwritten entirely by Maran the Steipler the great Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Kanievski, one of the greatest Tzaddikim of recent generation and leaders of the Torah world. Bnei Berak, 1970.
A holy letter by Maran the Gaon of Steipla Rabbi Yaakov Yisroel Kanievsku, who was called with awesome respect ‘The Steipler’ – to our dear brother Bnei Yisroel, who by charity will stand and be blessed with all the best. In the body of the rare charity letter, Maran the Steipler begs for the souls of the young, important families of Bnei Torah, a Talmid Chacham who married a student of Beis Yaakov.
The Steipler ends his letter with lengthy and extremely rare blessings, anyone who pities, will be twice as pitied by Heaven for a great Teshuah to be spiritually and materially blessed and all the best in this world and the principal remains for the world to come … and especially that he is a great Talmid Chacham.
The Steipler writes and signs his letter, written entirely by his holy hand, and then signs agains with his stamp ‘Yaakov Yisroel Kanievsky – Bnei Berak Shikun Chazon Ish‘.
