Awesome Sefer Segulah! Magen David on the Torah and the Moadim by the Holy Rav Rabbi David of Tolna, Lvov, 1840.
Among the Chassidim, the Seforim of the Holy Rav of Tolna are considred wonersous Sifrei Segulah for Yirah and Tahara, spiritually and materially. Not only in the courts of Chernobyl but also in the courts of Ruzhin, Vizhnitz and even among the Tzaddikim of Poland they are admired and studied with awe and Yirah. The Holy Rav the author himself in the third edition of the ‘Magen David’, which was also published in his lifetime, wrote: והנני אומר אשר כל איש חכם לב אשר יקנה את הספר הזה ויהגה בו אקווה שיהיה עליו תרופה לגופו ונפשו ברוחניות וגשמיות בזה ובבא, ויצליח בהצלחות זמניות ונצחיות. אמן כן יהי רצון.
