Lovely original picture of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yoel of Satmar with the Holy Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Farhand the Rav of Nitra, while they were staying in a resort town. 1938. An almost unpublished picture.
The holy Rav of Satmar is facing the photographer with a look of wonder and scrutinizing eyes. The Rav of Nitra has a satisfied look, his hat slightly shading his kind face. The face of the Holy Rav of Satmar shines with an exceptional light.
On the back of the picture, the name of the place and the date the picture was taken – 1938, were handwritten in a foreign language.
