Letter handwritten entirely by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Noah Shachor, the father-in-law of the Holy Rav the "Imrei Emes’, to his ‘beloved Mechusan whose intensity of love is stuck in his heart like burning fire’ the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Zvi Hirsch of Kalisch. And with his signatures. Biala, [1874].
A lengthy letter about Ta’arovos HaAmukim and innovations on several matter and some other matters, written entirely by the holy hand of the Great Gaon Rabbi Noah Shachor the father-in-law of Maran the Holy Rav the "Imrei Emes" of Gur and the in-law of the Rabbi author of "Sefas Emes" – to his Mechusan – the Mechusan of his brother the gaon Posek Rabbi Chaim Zvi of Zavichvast, one of the important Dayanim of Kalisch. On the margins of the letter, regards referring to his Gaon brother Rabbi Moshe.
Close to a hundred lines handwritten by Rabbi Noah, of whom Maran the Sefas Emes said that it is a Zchus to be his son-in-law and that he is a Talmid Chacham.
Rabbi Noah signed the letter twice.
The Great Gaon rabbi Noah Shachor the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Shachor, one ofthe greatest Geonim of Kock, Gur and Alexander. His pious dauhter Mrs. Chaya Ruda married the Holy Rav the Imrei Emes of Gur. The leading disciple of the Holy Rav Rabbi Chanoch Henich of Alexander. His family, including his brothers and brothers-in-law, were all Geonim including the Great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Berlin.
The Gaon the Holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Zvi the son of the Tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Ephraim Ashkenazi of Zavichvast, son after son of the "Chacham Zvi". A disciple of his Mechusan the "Saba Kaddisha" of Radoshitz and of the Chozeh of Lublin. A renonwed Tzaddik and Gaon in Nigleh and Nistar. Since 1831, the successor of his father as a Dayan in Kalisch. Later, a Rav in Zavichvast and Lipsk. For many years also served as a "rebbe" to the Chassidim. Authored a manuscript on the Torah. His in-law the Holy Rav of Zichlin Rabbi Moshe Netanel the son of the Holy Rav Shmuel Abba of Zichlin. Otzar HaRabbanim 6546.
