Mighty letter by the great Posek Maran the Gaon of Tshebin ‘Der Tshebiner Rov’ with warm blessings for Torah supporters and the supporter of his yeshiva. Jerusalem, 1963.
I want in these lines to express my personal gratitude for his generous donation a thousand Lirot for building out holy yeshiva Kochav MiYaakov and his promise for an additional donation. Please accept my sincere apperciation for the participation in Simchas Mitzvah and the considerable monetary participation which honors its owners.
The holy Gaon of Tshebin end his letter ‘May we merit celebrating the inauguration of this house which BeEzras Hashem will be a glorious house with joyful hearts and souls and see Haramt Keren HaTorah and its learners, his friend who blesses him and awaits complete redemption and salvation.
The letter is typewritten on the official stationery of the Gaon of Tshebin, with his handwritten signature, from his old age. In the following years, Maran the Gaon of Tshebin rarely wrote letters and consequently, his signatures from these years are extremely rare.
