Basic Sefer on Pseak Halacha, written by the renowned Rabbi Menachem ben Binyomin Recanati, one of the first Kabbalists of the sages of Italy. The greatest Poskim of all generations present his Halachic opinion and decisions.
On the title page, an important signature and stamp: the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Yisroel Av Beis Din of Alexandria [ passed away in 1784], one of the most renowned Shadarim of Eretz Yidroel who exiled to Italy and eventually settled in Egypt where he was a leading Rav. Author of ‘Kol Eliyahu’ Shut, ‘Kiseh Eliyahu’ and many additional Seforim.
He typically signs ‘אי"ש צעיר ס"ט’ in Solitero (Chatzi Kulmus).
The stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Ben Zion Weisel Av Beis Din of Torda and the vicinity. [passed away in 1938] the president of the central orthodox office in Transylvania. The Gaon of Shamli eulogized him: The loss of the Rav of Torda at this time is greater than the loss of the Nodah BiYehuda in his time, since then there were still Geonim and Tzaddikim but in such an orphaned generation as ours who will be our leader after him.
