Large letter of blessings handwritten by the Holy Admor Rabbi Meshulam Zussia of Chernobyl to the Holy Admor of Tzeshinov on an invitation to the Bar Mitzvah of the son of the holy Admor of Chernobyl USA Shalita. Jerusalem, 1958.
In the letter, the Holy Admor blesses his realtive the Holy Admor Rabbi Sholom Yechezkel Sheraga rabin Halberstam of Tzeshinov and thanks him for the donations he had sent to him for ‘Hachnasas Kalah’ matters which the Rabbi of Chernobyl had dealt with, by means of the Ezras Torah organization. ‘The merit of the great Mitzvah will protect my holy relative to be saved…"
The Holy Admor Maran Rabbi Meshulam Zussia of Chernobyl (1910-1987) one of the greatest Rebbes in the Holy Land. His holy father Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschil was a descendant of the Meor Enayim and his pious mother was the daughter of the Holy Rav of Tchechoiv the youngest son of Maran the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. In 1934, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, where he lived for a couple of years, returning to Poland in 1936. In 1939, when the winds of war in Europe started to blow, he again immigrated to the Holy Land and settled in Jerusalem. In 1959, he established his Beis Midrash in Bnei berak and many followed him, a true Tzaddik and modest man, whose blessing were never turned down and his pure Avodah was exemplary.
