Large collection of manuscripts and Torah innovations by the Tzaddik the Dayan of Papa who ‘merited seeing Eliyahu’ Rabbi Moshe Yosef Hoffmanen. 

Archive and large collection of manuscripts by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yosef Hoffman who was known as "The Dayan of Papa", admired by greatest rabbis as one who merited reaching heights and even seeing Eliyahu HaNavih. 

Among the leaves,   "Shiviti Hashem Lenegdi Tamid" handwritten by him. Torah innovations on the Nigleh and Suggiyos HaShas and Aggadot of the Sages. 

The Holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yosef Hoffman "The Dayan of Papa" [1843-1928], his rabbis said that he was a Kaddosh Merachem who was recongized by his holiness his entire life. He received his Semicha by his great Rav the Mahari Assad, serving as Rosh Yeshiva in his city of Serdahely. Since 1882 until 1906 he served as Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek in Papa and in 1906 immigrated to the Holy land, living in Jerusalem and studying Torah in the Beis Midrash of the Basei Ungarin neighborhood. He used to sit all day with his Tefillin and write hundreds and thousands of leaves with Torah innovations, which were kept in the attic of the synagogue and they disappeared from there. His great diligence and piety were wonderous. gaon in Nigleh and Nistar. A modest man who merited seeing Eliyahu. A miracle-worker. 

Once, one of the disciples of the Holy Rav Yehoshua Buxbaum Av Beis Din of Galanta sked: Did his holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Yosef the Dayan of Papa have Ruach HaKodesh? and was answered: I have no knowledge of him having RuachHaKodesh but I know for a fact that he saw Eliyahu HaNavih. 

[18] paper items, some of them lines leaves, written in orderly script, parts of papers and leaves with considerable wear. Conditions vary. Some of the leaves handwritten by his disciples of the Geonim of Jerusalem such as Rabbi Meir Fishman and others. General condition: Good.
