Small collection of letters, letters signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschil of Kopitshnitz or documents pertaining to public matters and leadership of Yisroel, but a drop in the ocean of activity for establishing religion and returning the hearts of Yisroel to their Father in Heaven.
In the collection, two letters with his holy signature, letters that were sent to the American Israeli Bank that operated in Israel in those years, and they contain an instruction to transfer funds to an institution for Jewish girls, the renowned Or HaChaim enterprises in Bnei Berak.
The two letters bear the stencil logo ‘HaRav Avraham Heschel of New York now in Israel’, typewritten lines of the request to transfer the funds and the holy handwritten signature of the Rabbi.
* In an additional document, Rabbi Moshe Pardo amd Rabbi Raphael Hillel confirm that they received the money and established a room in the dormatory of the ‘Or HaChaim’ institution. The amount transferred to the Or HaChaim institution was 3000 dollars, a huge amount in those days [worth at least a hundred times more, in today’s currency].
* An additional document, also about the establishment of the Torah and support of Talmudei Torah, a photograph of a sign made by the Independent Education describing the generosity og the holy Maran the Admor of Kopitshnitz for a Talmud Torah in Magdiel – Hod HaSharon of today.
