The holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Greenwald author of ‘Arugos HaBosem’ [1853-1910] one of the greatest Rabbis and Poskim of Hungary, the leading disciple of Maran the Kesav Sofer in Pressburg, the disciple of the greatest disciples of the Chassam Sofer the holy Gaon Rabbi Menachem Katz and his grandfather Rabbi Yosef Greenwald. Since his youth he became tied to Chassidus and would travel to the holy Tzaddikim of Belz and Shinava. Was the Rav of the renowned communities of Homno and Kleinwarden until he became the Rav and leader of Chust. In his days, the Chust yeshiva became the largest and most important yeshiva in Hungary, with many students from all over the world including the USA joining it to study Torah and Yirah from its great Rav.
