Letter with Warm Blessings for Those Assisting with Hachnasas Kalah, Handwritten and Signed by the ‘Vayechi Yosef’ the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yosef Greenwald of Pápa
Letter with a request for Hachnasas Kalah for one of the Tzaddikim of Jerusalem for the marriage of his daughter, handwritten by the renowned Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yosef Greenwald Gaon Av Beis Din and Ram of Pápa, author of ‘Vayechi Yosef’, with his pure blessing for an abundance of blessing and success. 1973.
The letter was written on a copy of the stationery of Maran Gaon Av Beis Din of Jerusalem author of ‘Minchas Yitzchak’ calling to all our brother Bnei Yisroel to support one of the renonwed Tzaddikim of Jerusalem: ‘not everyday we meet such an important passenger’. Signed with a photocopy of the Minchas Yitzchak’s signature.
Beneath this request, Maran the Vayechi Yosef of Pápa writes by his pure hand for this important case and for the Tzaddikim of Jerusalem, signing: He who supports him will be blessed with an abundance of blessing and success… Yosef Greenwald.
The Holy Rav Rabbi Yosef Greenwald author of ‘Vayechi Yosef’ of Pápa [1903-1984], the Rav and leader of Pápa, Hungary. The son of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yechizkiya the son of Rabbeinu the author of ‘Arugas Habosem’. After his marriage, he was appointed Dayan in Satmar beneath his uncle and teacher the holy Gaon Rabbi Eliezer David of Satmar. He headed the ‘Keren LeDavid’ yeshiva in Satmar. After the Holocaust, he established the Pápa community. Was renowned for his piousness and genius and many were saved by his blessings.
