Letter handwritten entirely by the Tzddik Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya First Av Beis Din and Ram of the ‘Adas Yisroel’ community, the ‘Schif-Schul’ in Vienna. Not dated.
In his letter, the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya First writes a deep apology to the author of an important Sefer who had sent the gaon his Sefer that since he had not yet received the Sefer, he did not send payment for it and the letter of approbation. ‘May he be assured that I will not be negligent’. He praises the author and his Seforim at length. On the margins of the letter, after his signature, he notes that the aforementioned messanger indeed arrived after he signed the letter, yet did not have the correct Sefer so of course, when he receives the Sefer he will send his approbation.
