Large collection of important and rare documents of the worldwide Agudas Yisroel and its important branch in Jerusalem. At its center, a lengthy manifest which the members of the Jerusalem branch of Agudas Yisroel sent to the executive committee in Vienna and Frankfurt in which they recount the disagreements and differences of opinion within Agudas Yisroel. 1920s.
* Rare, detailed invitation to the second worlwide conference of Agudas Yisroel, which took place in Vienna in 1929. Four large pages, on which it was written in Yiddish-German all that is required for organizing the conference, its goals, a detailed price list of the ‘Sela’im’ – contribution to the expenses of the Agudah, what was on the agenda and the burning questions that will be discussed, such as the question of Palestine, the 1929 Palestine Riots and more.
* Lengthy polemic letter, of 13 pp. a stencil copy, not signed, about the disagreements between Agudas Yisroel of Jerusalem and the Chief Rabbinate headed by Maran Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, שnd within Agudas Yisroel itself. The letter describes the varied forces and parties in Jerusalem, those loyal to Rabbi Kook due to his nature and belonging, those who are members of the Chief Rabbinate only because their livelihood depends on it, as the writers claim, and those who are its members for other reasons. The letter refers to the Geonim rabbis Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Bernstein, Rabbi Yosef Binyomin Horowitz and more.
The second part of the letter describes the bad blood within Agudas Yisroel due to the honor of the Tzaddikim and leaders of Agudas Yisroel being offended and especially that of the Holy Rav the Imrei Emes of Gur and that of the Rav of Jerusalem the Great Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. This part of the letter refers to dignitaries such as Rabbi Yosef Binyomin Horowitz, Rabbi Michael Eliyahu Rosenstruch, Rabbi Bonem Rosenberg, Rabbi Yaakov Chanocj Sankewitz, Rabbi Yitzchak meir Hacohen Levin, Dr. Rabbi Yitzchak Breuer and Dr. Rabbi Moshe Walach.
These documents draw a full and most important picture of the exact state of the Haredi Jews of Eretz Yisroel, in Jerusalem, Tiberius, Tel Aviv and Safed, the Ashkenazic and Sephardic communities.
* An original receipt for supporting the Torah fund (Keren HaTorah) established Agudas Yisroel for reestablishing the world of Torah, with the printed signature of the Holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Chrotkov and the holy Rav the Imrei Emes of Gur. Given to Rabbi Shemaya Luria, an important activist of Agudas Yisroel and one of the leaders of ‘Beis Yaakov’ in Eretz Yisroel.
* Letter by the editorial staff of ‘Kol Yisroel’ and its manager the activist Rabbi Menachem Porush, eventually one of the leading activists of Agudas Yisroel and one of its senior members and the chairman of its center in Jerusalem. Sent to Rabbi Shemaya Luria in Elul 1940.
