‘May everything be for the sake of Heaven even when he is working for a living he should think of the Torah’. Pure manuscript by the holt Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, Drush for Rosh Hashana.

‘This i said on Rosh Hashana 1865’! A sermon handwritten entirely by the holy Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, on both sides of the leaf. 

Large sheet of paper, handwritten on both its sides in dense script. 75 lines handwritten by the Tzaddik the holy awe-inspiring Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, a miracle worker and lover of Yisroel and the leading Rav of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yeshayale of Kerestir. 

When the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska said his holy words, his appearnace was holy and awe-inspiring "Dressed in white, his face flaming as burning caols and torches, his appearance as a Divine angel, his eye shut, his hands spread on the heads of Bnei Yisroel like a priest blessing in the G-d’s name". Tzaddikim have said that his sermons have the power to cause repentance and mercy for anyone who reads them. 

The holy Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska (1808-1874), one of the greatest Tzaddik of Chassidus. In his youth, he studied Torah with the holy Gaon the ‘Tiv Gittin’ and the holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham of Dembitz. He was a disciple of the holy Rav the Yismach Moshe of Ujhely, the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Ruzhin, the holy Rav the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, the holy Rav the Sar Sholom of Belz, the holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Premishlan. He acceded to the request of his Rav the Yismach Moshe and started serving as Rav and Admor in LIska, where he became widely renowned and thousands came to him for belssings and advice. Was a miracle worker who endowed many blessings on Bnei Yisroel. His holy Seforim ‘Ach Pri Tevuah’ and ‘Hayashar Vehatov’, in which these sermons were printed with linguistic and textual variations.  His leading disciple, the holy Gaon Rabbi Yeshayale of Kerestir, used to sign his name and add ‘who was a Meshamesh Bakodesh of the Tzaddik Rav of Liska’.
