Letter of friendship full of Birkas Hashem handwritten by the holy Rav the Tzidkas Yosef of Pittsburgh to his brother Rabbi Meir of Cleveland. 

A lengthy letter of friendship by the holy Rav of Pittsburgh author of ‘Tzidkas Yosef’ to his brother the holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Cleveland. Pittsburgh, 1928.

In his letter, the Tzidkas Yosef announces that he has returned to his home after staying at a resort and although he is still not feeling well and of renewed strength, he hopes that with the mercy of Heaven, his health will soon improve.

The rabbi the Tzidkas Yosef blesses his beloved brother ‘May G-d in his mercy strengthen and support him in all matters for the best and with blessing and we will be saved speedily Amen’.

The holy Admor Tabbi Yosef of Pittsburgh (1896-1966), the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Yissachar Berchi of Satmar, the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai of nadvorna. Already in his youth, he was renowned as an Iluy. One of the greatest disciples of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald of Chust. After he became a Rebbe and Admor in Krole, he moved to Pittsburgh in America, where he brought thousands of Jews closer to Hashem Yisborach and his Torah and where he was renowned as one of the Tzaddikim of his generation and as a miracle-worker. His pure Imros were published in his holy Sefer ‘Tzidkas Yosef’. 

The holy Rav Rabbi Meir Leifer of Cleveland, the eldest son of the holy Rav Rabbi Berchi of Satmar. Served as Rav and Admor in Pest and later moved to America and opened his Chassidic court in Cleveland, USA. From there, he moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He had no sons and was succeeded by his son-in-law and nephew Rabbi Asher Mordechai Rosenboim of Cleveland as well as by the court of Strozhnitz and others. He passed away on the 12th of Nissan 1941.
