‘After the Internal Elections’ Collection on Public Matters by Maran the Holy Admor the Pnei Menachem of Gur

Small and important collection of public matters signed and handwritten by Maran the Holy Admor the Pnei Menachem of Gur, when he served as Rosh Yeshiva of the Sefas Emes Yeshiva and the leader of Agudas Yisroel. 

* Protocol of choosing Maran the Holy Admor the Pnei Menachem of Gur as the chairman of Agudas Torah VeYahadus LaAm, with his full holy handwritten signature! Cheshvan 1978.

* Official letter from the 27th of Menachem Av 1976, to Rabbi Menachem Porush and the heads of the ‘Shlomei Emunei’ party inviting their representatives to a consultation before the national conference that took place after the internal elections in 1974. 

* A paper envelope written and signed with the handwritten signature of Maran the Pnei Menachem [who, untypically, signed his name: אלתר בתי"ו].

Maran the holy Admor the Pnei Menachem of Gur the Holy Gaon Rabbi Pinchas Menachem Alter [1926-1996] Youngest son of the holy ‘Imrei Emes’ of Gur, one of the leaders of the last generation and one of the great spirits who stood at the head of the Chareidi Juadism. Served as Rosh Yeshiva of the Sefas Emes Yeshiva since 1957, and since the passing of his brother-in-law Rabbi Yitzchak Meir HaKohen Levine the president of Agudas Yisroel, began to lead the the National Center of the movement. He stood at the right side of his brothers the Admorim the ‘Beis Yisroel’ and the ‘Lev Simcha’ of Gur and for many years toiled for testablishing and founding the Torah institutions of Chassidus Gur. Dozens of years he served as member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and was its leading speaker in all public conferences. In his last years he served as Admor of Gur for tens of thousands until his sudden passing hours after leading his Purim Tisch. Was renowned for his peacfulness, modesty and great genius as well as his love for the Torah and for Yisroel.
