The great Gaon Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Frumer of Kozhigalov (1884-1943), a disciple of the Gaon of Amastov and the holy Gaon author of the Avnei Nezer of Sochatchov in Poland, Rav in Kozhigalov and Sosnovich. Author of the ‘Eretz Zvi’ Shut and an admired Rav. The admired Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin after the passing of Maran the Maharm Shapiro of Lublin. His leading disciples included the Geonim of Poland including Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Wosner.
