Telegram of blessing for a Bar Mitzvah handwritten by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.
‘I bless the Chasan HaMitzvos the dear Bachur Avraham Zvi may he rise and ascend in Torah and Yiras Shamayim out of health and happiness and may he by a pride to his parents and entire family". Telegram of blessing by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach to his in-law’s grandson.

The Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach (1910-1995), the Rosh Yeshiva of the "Kol Torah" Yeshiva for more than 40 years, from 1949 until his passing. Was born to Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib Auerbach, the Rosh Yeshiva of the "Sha’ar HaShamayim" Kabbalists yeshiva. The disciple of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Hillman. Was renowned for his modesty, gentleness and kindness, and as one of the greatest Poskei Hador of his generation and as a religious authority on halachic, medicinal, scientific and technological matters. Written on his tombstone: "מעודו הרביץ תורה לרבים והעמיד תלמידים הרבה בישיבת ‘קול תורה’".
