Two letters of gratitude and blessing for the philanthropists and activists supporting the "Shem Olam" Yeshiva in Bayis Vagan, handwritten by the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Milikovsky, the Rosh Yeshiva of the Amshinov Yeshiva. Jerusalem, 1977.

The letters were written to the renowned Gaon Rabbi David Halachmi – Weissbrod, a leading Amshinov Chassid before and after the Holocaust, Rav at the ‘Chissda-Pai’ synagogue in Bnei Berak, the leading and close disciple of the great Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin. 

The letters contain many blessings and deep friendship for all that he has done for Beis Amshinov, the holy yeshiva and the fundraisers for it. 

The letter also refers to the important Vizhnitz philanthropist Rabbi Shmuel Daskal. 

The great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Milikovsky [1916-1993] the Rosh Yeshiva of the Amshinov Yeshiva of Bayis Vagan, the son-in-law of the holy Maran the Admor Rabbi Yerachmiel Yehuda Meir of Amshinov and the father of the holy Maran the Admor Shalita of Amshinov. Was a renowned Iluy. Studied at the Mir Yeshiva and exiled with it to Vilna and Shanghai, always being one of its outstanding students. 

[2] letters on the official stationery of the Amshinov Yeshiva. 21X17 cm. Handwritten entirely and signed by him. One of the letters is with aging stains. Fold marks. Good-very good condition.
