[1] postcard, 8X14 cm. Handwritten and signed (initials) by him. The content of the postcard was written in a leaf that was mounted on a draft of the version of the appeal to Rabbi Zeltzer. On the back of the postcard, Rabbi Rosenberg’s stamp.
Rabbi Meir Yehoshua Rosenberg (1885-1940), the son of Rabbi Yehuda Yudel Rosenberg, one of the leaders of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada.. A student of the Volozhin Yeshiva. Immigrated from Poland to the USA in 1920. Served as a Rav in Hartford, Connecticut, Springfield and Holyoke (Massachusetts) and Plainfield (New Jersey). Author of the Sefer "Kur HaMivchan" on Yoreh Deah. Was one of the rabbis of "HaMizrachi" in the USA.
