Collection of Important Letters Handwritten and Signed by Maran the Rishon LeZion the Great Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef

Collection of important letters handwritten and signed by Maran the Rishon LeZion the Great Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef, with many blessings by him for a good living and happiness.

* A lengthy letter, handwritten entirely by Maran the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadya Yosef, praising the writings of the Rav of Moshav Zimrat the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Reuven Moris and emphasizing the importance of publishing them. Shevat 1987. Approx. 18 lines in his pure, pearly script and with his signature.

Maran ends this letter with an abundance of blessings for a good living, happiness and all the best.

Some old dampness stains and a tear.

* An extremely rare letter, handwritten entirely by Maran the Rishon LeZion, to Knesset Member Rabbi Avraham Verdiger, a member of the Poalei Agudas Yisroel movement, to accpet the bearer Rabbi Ahron Sudri and arrange for him an exemption from military service in Israel since he is an Avrech whose Torah is his art.

This letter also ends with Maran the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadya Yosef’s blessing: ‘מה’ ישא ברכה וחפץ ה’ בידו יצלח’.

Torn filing perforations. Some ink spots. Tears along the fold lines.

* Two recommendations on the official stationery of Maran the Rishon LeZion for the Avodas Hashem Yeshiva for immigrants from the USSR and for Hachnasas Kalah. These letters end with blessing by the Rav for those who assist. These letters of recommendations are typewritten and hand-signed by Maran, who also added the date by hand. 1998-2005.
