‘When You are in Bnei Berak Come See Me’ Collection of Halachic Responsum Handwritten by Maran Sar HaTorah the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky.

Collection of Halachic responsum by Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky Shalita, who shortly responded to varied questions including the original envelopes on which his holy handwriting appears.

The letters include letters that were sent to the pious Rebbetzen Bas Sheva Kanievsky, who gave them to her Gaon husband noting that their writers were women.

* A responsum postcard to a student of the Tifrach Yeshiva, not dated. The Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky wrote the addressee’s name by himself. On its other side, he wrote his short response: When you are in Bnei Berak come see me, a response symbolizing a rare and important reference by Maran the Gaon, who wishes to discuss the halachic matter at length in his home in Bnei Berak, a Tel Talpiyos to which all mouths turn.

* A responsum postcard on which the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky wrote the sender’s name and on its other side, his rare response: ‘When you are in Bnei Berak come see me’. On the postcard, a postmark from 1996.

* A paper envelope on which the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky wrote the sender’s address, Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky himself and the address of the one who sent the question – the letter’s addressee. 1998.

* 3 paper envelopes which were received at home and on which the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky wrote ‘A letter from a woman’. In addition, names of sick people to pray for also appear. 2003-2004.

* A letter of varied responsum with 3 Halachic responsa handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Relatively rare in its length.

Size and condition vary. Very good general condition.
