Divrei HaYamim, Liber Paralipomenon. Pocket format. [Paris, ca. 1550].
Sefer Divrei HaYamim, [similar to the Robertus Stephanus edition, Paris 1543]. [Paris, ca. 1550].
[177] leaves, 11 cm. The last printed leaf was missing and was completed by hand. With vowelization and Ta’amei Mikrah.
The place and year of printing do not appear on the title page; however, a printer’s mark does appear, shaped like the Tree of Knowledge, from which branches are falling and with a ribbon with the Latin inscription "Noli altum sapere" (Do not be proud). Standing to the right of the tree is an old man raising his right hand. Varied forms of this mark appear in Hebrew books that were printed in Paris by Robertus Stephanus (during the years 1539-1545) and his son, Carlos Stephanus (during the years 1556-1559). See: Ya’ari, Diglei HaMadpisim HaIvriyim, p. 16 and 135.
Minor aging stains, wear to binding, last leaf missing and was completed by hand, good condition.
