12, [40]; [2], 4, [2] leaves, 17 cm. On the flyleaf, signatures of Rabbi Avraham Avish Tzenvirt and the stamp of Rabbi Zelig REuven Bengis Gaon Av Beis Din of HaEdah HaChareidis of Jerusalem.
Rabbi Zelig Reuven ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Bengis (1864-1953) a student of the Volozhin Yeshiva. Recieved his Hora’ah Semicha from his Rav the Natziv and from Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon Spektor and from the Cheshek Shlomo. Served as Av Beis Din in Badaki and Kalvarija. In 1938, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and became Rosh Av Beis Din of HaEdah HaChareidis of Jerusalem, several months later being appointed Gaon Av Beis Din. Headed the Ohel Moshe Yeshiva and authored the series of Seforim Liflagot Reuven.
Rabbi Avraham Avish Tzenvirt – the father of the important Gaon Chaim Yitzchak Yehoshua, the father of Rabbu Moshe Nosson Dov, the father of the Kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Avish Tzenvirt who authored many dear Kabbalistic Seforim.
Semi-leather binding, partly detached, detached flyleaf, stains, some moth damage, fair-good condition.
