‘The holy Yeshiva exists by miracle BeChassdei Hashem’! A wonderous letter handwritten entirely by the Great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Kotler fron the days of the Kleck Yeshiva, for saving the Torah and supporting those who study it. Kleck, 1934.
On the rare stationery of the Yeshiva of Slutzk, which was moved to Kleck, with the name of the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Aharon Kotler on its back, Maran the great Gaon writes about his efforts to keep the existence of religion, pass on the golden tradition and continue the pure chain of Torah for the next generations. He writes: ‘Due to our terrible situation, whereby the yeshiva is hanging on by a thread, yet exists by miracle BeChassdei Hashem’.
The president of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and leader of the generation the great Gaon Rabbi Aharon Kotler (1892-1962) one of the greatest Gedolei Yisroel in the recent generation, one of the reestablishers of the yeshiva world in America and one of the founders of the pure education in Eretz Yisroel and one of the leaders of the worlwide Agudas Yisroel. From a young age was renowned as an Iluy and diligent student. In his youth, he studied Torah with the Gaon Rabbi Zalman Sender Kahana Shapiro and his rabbis in Slabodka. Married the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer. Was Rosh Yeshiva of Slutzk and Kleck.
