Special letter handwritten and signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin about his tremendous efforts to support his yeshiva. Not dated. Ca. late 1930s.
‘I will ask him to send right away 150 gold coins for our yeshiva since the situation is most difficult …’ The letter was sent to Rabbi Aharon Barak, one of the sages and publicist of Va’ad Hayeshivas in Vilna.
The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Karlin [also known as ‘The Frankfurter’ or the ‘Yanuka’]. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as of secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
13X20 cm. Handwritten entirely by him and with his pure signature. Filing perforations. Very good condition.
