33; 31 leaves, 31 cm. The title page of section I and the last leaf of section II are missing. With [3] handwritten signatures of Rabbi Shmuel Heller.
The holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Heller (1803-1884) Rosh Av Beis Din of Safed and one of its leaders for more than forty years. From all around the world he was sent Halachic questions. Many came to him for advice and blessing. In the great earthquake of 1837 he lost his wife and three children, while he himself was severely wounded. Authored the Seforim Taharas Hakoddesh, Derech Nesher, Divrei Mishpas, Sha’ar Perisha and Kevod Melachim. After his passing, his Sefer Refu’os VeSegulos was published.
Stains, fold marks, tears along the fold lines and a tear to the side of the leaf. Detached semi-leather binding, incomplete copy, stains, moth holes, fair condition.
